A high-dielectric-performance epoxy resin synergistically modified with SiO2-montmorillonite. Sulfhydrylated-nano-SiO2 aminated-montmorillonite is reacted with an epoxy resin under the action of a catalyst to obtain a high-dielectric-performance epoxy resin synergistically modified with SiO2-montmorillonite, wherein the nano-SiO2 has a nano effect, the montmorillonite has a unique microstructure causing a strong binding force with macromolecular chains and chain segments of the epoxy resin, and the two synergistically restrain the movement of the macromolecular chains and chain segments of the epoxy resin and improve the thermal stability of the epoxy resin; and the SiO2 is adhered to the molecular chain of the epoxy resin, causing increased dipole polarization, the montmorillonite forms an interface structure with the epoxy resin, which interface structure can capture free charges, resulting in space charge accumulation, causing interfacial polarization and promoting dipole polarization, and the two synergistically improve the relative dielectric constant of the epoxy resin, such that the high-dielectric-performance epoxy resin synergistically modified with SiO2-montmorillonite has an excellent thermal stability and dielectric performance.
