To provide an electric gripping tool which can notify presence or absence of a metal to an operator without contacting the metal existing in an object such as concrete, a processing method with use of the electric gripping tool, and a processing program.SOLUTION: An electric gripping tool 10 comprises a detection signal acquisition part 31, a determination part 32, a display 24, a display control part 34, a motor 14, and a drive control part 13. The detection signal acquisition part 31 acquires a detection signal which changes according to a detection intensity of a reinforcing-bar W1 in concrete W. The determination part 32 determines presence or absence of the reinforcing-bar W1 on the basis of an acquisition result acquired in the detection signal acquisition part 31. The display 24 displays presence or absence of the reinforcing-bar W1 by lighting different lights. The display control part 34 controls so as to switch the color of the light displayed by the display 24 on the basis of a determination result in the determination part 32. The motor 14 rotationally drives a tip tool 18a which performs processing for the concrete W. The drive control part 13 controls drive of the motor 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
