Background:In previous study,a new type of Chinese herb(NTCB) demonstratedgood virologic,biochemical benefit.This study presents efficacy and safety results for chroni-cal Hepatitis B(CHB)patients who received 2一years continuous NTCBtreatment. Methods:The Study;continue to monitor NTCB一treated CHB patients.Theproportion of patients with HBV-DNA<1000 copies/ml,ALT normalization,HBeAg loseor HBeAg seroconversion were evaluated at the endpoint. Results:Of 36 NTCB一treatedCHB HBeAg positive patients enrolled in this study,6 have obtained HBeAg seroconversion,and with HBV-DNA<1000 copies,ALT normalization.12 NTCB一treated CHB HbeAgnegative patients enrolled in this stu方，6 have HBV-DNA<1000 copies,ALT normaliza-lion. Conclusions:There are 16.6%and50% CHB-HBeAg positive and negative with lowHBV-DNA patients experienced durable serum HBY DNA Suppression and ALT normalizationand/or HBeAg seroconversion after 2一years NTCB tratment.
