In this study a plastic-damage coupled model is implemented in the distinct lattice spring modelrn(DLSM). A plastic-damage coupled model is used as a constitutive model to take advantages of both damagernand plastic models to properly simulate cyclic behaviour of brittle like materials under uniaxial tension loading.rnFor this purpose, a simple framework for the combination of stress-based plasticity and strain based scalarrndamage is presented by using two variables named state variable and damage-plastic coupling coefficient.rnThen two variables are used to present different parts of force -deformation curve of cyclic response under uniaxialrntension loading. For the study, distinct lattice spring model (DLSM) is applied to implement the plasticdamagerncoupled model into it. With comparing simulation result and experimental result, it is found that thernbrittle behaviour of material can be well predicted by the DLSM through the implemented plastic-damagerncoupled model.
