摘要

Accurate estimates of moored ship oscillations are important for berth planning and operation, especially at ports that face the open sea. Recently, proper mooring systems have been examined by numerical simulation, and several simulation methods have been proposed to evaluate ship oscillations and mooring forces. In this study, moored ship oscillations are analyzed with several examples corresponding to several simulation methods, and the simulation results are compared. We then apply these simulation methods to the design of a new container terminal port facility that faces the open sea in Japan.
