摘要

The study aims to develop guidelines for SNS based the medical tourism system between foreigners in and outside their homeland in order to handle information asymmetry. The study is based on the real case of SNS promotion activities for medical tourism of inbound Chinese patients to Korea. The guidelines were developed based on a literature review, user requirement from end users, and subject-matter expert knowledge. The experts and Chinese end users also evaluated the usefulness and applicability of the developed guidelines. The guidelines suggest pivotal roles of FOH and FIH on the web platform by using localized SNS service for addressing asymmetry information between inbound Chinese patients to Korea and medical service provide in Korea.The guidelines developed in this study can be used for one of modules for transnational medical tourism system in Far East Asia.
