摘要

Mass and energy balance-based assessment of a numerical model of biomassrncombustion in an experimental fixed-bed reactor is presented. The heterogeneousrntransient one-dimensional model includes drying, pyrolysis, char oxidation and gasrnphase reactions. The model is discretised by the finite volume method and effects ofrnspecific choice of numerical schemes on mass and energy conservation are investigated.
