Developing the technology of internal combustion engine vehicle (ICEV) has been created the byrnthe process of designing the engine first, expanding to the body design, and at last forming the vehiclernsociety itself. Considering simplicity of the electric vehicle (EV), this process is not always valid forrnEV designing. In this study, we will propose new concepts for developing a future EV, which differsrnfrom conventional process. This study suggests a methodology of making a concept of a desired EVrnfor future society. The proposed methodology is making the concept by the following steps. First, wernmade the concept of a desirable future society where human and nature can coexist and sustainablerndevelopment can be realized, resulting in more convenient, safer, more comfortable, more healthy, andrnhappier human life. Next we made the concept of future transportation required for realizing therndesirable future society. Thirdly, we made the concept of vehicle needed for such transportation. Andrnfinally we pointed that basic concept to make a rational new vehicle with a 1m-width and 2m –lengthrnframe, which meets the needs of the near future.
