摘要

Two types of 10Ah scale Li-ion cells have been developed for electric bike application. Thernone designated as energy-type, is with the capacity over 11Ah and specific power of 100W/kg. Thernother one designated as power-type, is with the capacity of 10Ah and specific power over 300W/kg.rnThe characterizations of discharge rate capability of the cells are discussed in this study. ThernPower-type cell is chosen to pack into a module for electric bicycle test. This module was tested underrnvarious discharge currents and showed better performance than the exiting market product. Simplifiedrnsimulation of driving discharge pattern to resemble YAMAHA pattern is designed for Lafree-a Giantrnelectric pedalec was also generated to evaluate the driving distance when applying the MRL/ITRIrnmodule.
