摘要

A new generation of robust, high efficient but low-cost battery powered electrical vehicles especiallyrnsuited for applications up to a power range of maximum 20 kW (e.g. scooters, wheel-chairs, golfmobiles,rnzero-emission vehicles for short-distances) is realised by means of sensorless control of arnPWM inverter fed induction machine. To meet all requirements depending on the type of the vehiclernan optimised motor design is essential. Coil design, sheet cut design and choice of the used materialsrnimprove the performance the induction motor drive considerably concerning mass, volume, specificrnpower, torque and efficiency and minimise cost.
