We present experimental results for anrnactive control Intersection Collision Avoidance (ICA)rnsystem implemented on modified Lexus IS250 testrnvehicles. The system utilizes vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V)rnDedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) tornshare safety critical state information, allowing forrndistributed implementation of our provably safe algorithms.rnSafety is achieved in potential collision scenariosrnby controlling the velocities of both vehicles withrnautomatic brake and throttle commands. Automaticrncommands can never cause the violation of predefinedrnupper and lower speed limits.
