This paper is a continuation of two previous papers on uncertainty analysis1,2. The first paper presentedrna simplified approach to the uncertainty analysis of a volume measurement based on an ultrasonic orrnturbine meter. The various components that contribute uncertainty were characterized based onrnmanufacturer’s specifications. The second paper illustrated the interpretation of calibration results forrninclusion into the uncertainty analysis. The development incorporated considerable discussion of thernimpact of systematic and random effects.rnThis paper expands previously developed uncertainty analysis techniques from single to multiple meterrnbased volume measurements. The development includes the concept of correlation and illustrates therneffect on the overall measurement uncertainty. A statistical simulation technique is applied to implementrnthe uncertainty analysis.
