摘要

Cured in place piping has been available in the U.S. for renewing gravity and (low pressure) pressure pipingrnsince the late 1970's. Largely used by the municipal sector, it has proven to be an even greater tool forrnrenewing industrial piping; both in buried and above-ground applications. Even so, its entry into the industrialrnsector has been slowed by a lack of communication with the engineers charged with maintaining thisrnsector's piping infrastructure. It is the purpose of this paper to re-introduce this technology to the industrialrnsector, to identify the practical limits of its application, and to inform the plant engineering team how to gornabout properly executing trenchless rehabilitation work using cured in place piping.
