摘要

The wind turbine availability level will be significantly influenced when a failure happens in main parts, e.g. gearbox, generator, drive train. It is very important to detect and respond to the weakness or failure as early as possible.A real time condition monitoring and diagnosis system -TCM(?) turbine monitoring system was developed to measure vibration on the gearbox, the generator and main shaft bearings in order to provide a real time condition status diagnosis based on a comparison between measured vibration data and reference data. A change deviating from reference condition will be reported by the system so the monitoring center can react promptly.In this paper, the architecture and configuration of TCM are introduced and failure identification by utilizing the system is illustrated. In addition, the advantage of TCM in optimizing service planning to reduce cost and down-time as well as conducting preventive repair of components before fatal breakdown will be discussed.
