摘要

Active hyperspectral light detection and ranging is an attractive technique for remote identification of numerous targets. Typical applications range from mineral exploration to the identification of vegetation for diversity studies and detection of objects or explosives. The measurement range of most active hyperspectral instruments has been limited by the availability of high intensity spectrally broadband light sources to a few tens of meters [1,2]. The aim of this work was to develop a cost effective hyperspectral instrument and to demonstrate the acquisition of IR reflection spectra over long distances.
