A novel Composite Right/Left Handed Transmission Line (CRLH-TL) ultra-wideband band-pass filter (UWBPF) is proposed in this paper. The filter is composed of a complementary split ring resonator (CSRR), a pair of quarter-wave slot resonator circuit (QWSRC) and radial stub (RS). Besides the two transmission zeros introduced by the QWSRC and the RS for better upper stop-band rejection, the CSRR creates another transmission zero to improve lower stop-band selectivity. In addition, detailed analysis based on image parameter method is given. The fractional bandwidth (FBW) is designed to be 100%. The measured results show good rejection of more than 22 dB in the lower stop-band and 32 dB in the upper stop-band from 6.9GHz to 9.6GHz, which are in good agreement with simulated results.
