It is very common in technical design of transmission lines errors in the selection of materials to be used for grounding systems and do not take into account the type of soil and the material bases of the towers. This error can cause accelerated corrosion problems as which to go meet degrading and resistance values defined grounding for the design of the line, will cause increased likelihood of Back Flashover phenomena causing increased forced outputs actual lightning, to the point that exceeds the design, degrading the quality of service.
