Retail price index(RPI)is one of the important indexes to reflect price changes and measure inflation rate.The research results that based on the national macroeconomic data are not necessarily conform to the reality of economic development in the region because of the differences of economic development between different regions in our country,so this paper uses ARIMA model to analyze and forecast the retail price index of Sichuan province from 1990 to 2011,and makes suggestions according to the prediction results.

机译：零售价格指数（RPI）是反映价格变化和衡量通货膨胀率的重要指标之一。由于经济差异，基于国家宏观经济数据的研究结果不一定与该地区的经济发展现实相符。因此，本文采用ARIMA模型对1990年至2011年四川省零售价格指数进行分析和预测，并根据预测结果提出建议。
