摘要

In this present work, the authors proposed a pharmacodynamic model which reflects the effects of both antihypertensive and the antidepressant agents on the signalling pathways associated with blood pressure concomitant with the action of neuroendocrine messengers. There are large numbers of signalling and metabolic pathways associated with blood pressure. The parameters associated with the neuroendocrine signaling pathways are altered in diseased state of a subject. Here the authors endeavoured to develop a model how the pharmacodynamic effects of antihypertensive or antidepressant agents change the dynamics of certain signalling pathways which affect the blood pressure.
