Technological knowledge and human capital in the last decades have gathered momentum at world sphere with a significant impact on the sustainable development of the nations through the renewable energies, specifically, with the use of solar energy, which can become useful energy forms such as electricity through a photovoltaic system. Its implementation has increased in places that are located away from the urban areas in which access to the production of electrical energy is difficult. For its implementation, it is important to consider compliance with regulatory standards and access to financing. This is how the Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña University analyzes the generation of electricity through a photovoltaic installation in the Energy Test Bank located in the `Plazoleta a la Vida' in the institution, where discussed measures that applies, which energy sources aimed at the consumption of luminaires and energy requirements for the functioning of the electrical system shall be replaced. At the local sphere, the present research is planned for the solar photovoltaic system to analyze the determinant parameters for efficient use in the transformation of electric energy and the population that will benefit by substituting traditional energy sources, which will allow to evaluate the reduction of CO2 emissions in the environment. On the characterization of the physical fundamentals, the energy efficiency can be established, analyzing the sub-systems of capture, storage, regulation and consumption in the photovoltaic installation.
