摘要

Cloud computing has evolved in a broad sense due to its availability of services used as a utility. The enterprise organization and common users are freed from buying a software, hardware and applications that incurs a huge investment. The investment of user/organization is reduced by using cloud, allowing pay as you go feature with high end security and reliability of the needs of a user or organization. As more number of users are connecting to cloud it becomes the responsibility of the cloud provider to satisfy the user requests. The request must be fulfilled by minimum cost and execution time along with increasing its own revenue by renting needed resources from the IaaS at a minimum cost. This paper summarizes a detail study of various resource provisioning and task scheduling algorithms and proposes a new approach which uses Random forest algorithm for decision optimization. The paper focuses on reducing the cost paid by the user as well as service provider.
