摘要

This paper presents the design of pole placement approach used in association with power system stabilizer for single machine infinite bus (SMIB). The performance of the scheme is enhanced by appropriately placing the poles at desired locations. The experiments are conducted for full operating conditions light, normal and heavy loads. The effect of operating conditions (types of load) on the proposed controller has been discussed. The proposed scheme is implemented implemented using MATLAB/SIMULINK platform.
