The introduced law regulations concerning acquisition and selling of green energy and mechanisms of their financial support influence the dynamic development of this sector of power engineering. Photovoltaic installations become more and more commonly used source of electrical energy. As part of electrical installations they require that specific reception and exploitation tests are carried out. Specific features of DC circuits and the type of measures used for shock protection force the necessity to carry out some specified measurements. In the paper the threats resulting from the influence of external environmental factors on electric shock and fire safety.
