摘要

An experiment was conducted to determine the variations in concentration of an inert air tracer in a forest where the release point is near ground level. The goal of the experiment was to provide a data set for evaluation of models used to describe the behavior of a dispersing vapor cloud in a forest and a data set that would supplement experimental data from the literature. The experiment therefore was not extensive but was planned to be relatively efficient and cost-effective and to provide dispersion data for specific cases of near neutral atmospheric stability and persistent wind conditions.
