Due to the flammable and explosive characteristics of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the failure of LPG storage tank leads threat to people and properties in the vicinity. Consequence of vapor cloud explosion (VCE) accident in LPG storage tanks is calculated by TNT equivalent method on the basis of analysis of hazardous characteristics and VCE features of LPG, then radius of death, severe injury, slight injury and property loss are obtained. According to the results obtained, suggestions for tank farm designing are put forward to reduce the losses of accident.
