摘要

This work describes the modelisation of a complete electronic system for transmission and reception of low frequency ultrasonic waves in air. It includes two non-conventional ultrasound transducers, realised by ferroelectric polymer technology, that carry on unimodal functions for medium- and short-range applications. Both the transmitter and the receiver are modelled as lumped parameter equivalent circuits, while the transmission medium is represented by a trans-impedance that accounts for the actual acoustic field. The system, including a flat reflector, is analysed by using Pspice simulator. The experimental results show a considerable improvement with respect to a previous analysis in terms of agreement between the model and the actual system.
