摘要

To facilidate the integration of terrestrial and satellite mobile communication systems in the future, new generation of satellite mobile communication system should be LTE-based. In LTE, voice is carrierd by IP packets (voice over IP, VoIP), so this paper discusses the support capability of LTE-based satellite mobile communication systems for VoIP. Detail link budgets are performed for 12.2kbps VoIP for three types of handheld terminals, and TTI bundling technique is applied to improve the uplink capability of low-level terminals.
