摘要

The field of person-environment relations has, from its origins, addressed the relationship between human behavior and the physical environment in the real world. In this discussion an environmental press-competency model of human functioning, together with elements of functionalist-evolutionary theory, are drawn together to examine healthcare behavior settings in films. This method can be useful in person-environment transactions in relation to diverse historical periods, building types, and places otherwise logistically, geographically, or temporally unattainable in real time and space.
