The present paper presents the results of a comparative evaluation of 13 types of electrical conductive adhesives (ECA) performed as a part of the KAMILLE II project (Can the environment be more clean by using electrical conductive adhesives). The project partners were Technoconsult, DELTA Danish Electronics, Light & Acoustics, The Danish Toxicology Centre (DTC), Danfoss A/S, Grudfos A/S, Bent Hede Elektronik A/S, Mekoprint A/S and ElektroMiljo A/S. The KAMILLE II Project has been reported in the following working reports: centre dot Life Cycle Assessment of electrically conductive adhesive versus traditional tin/lead solders, Christensen. F.M. centre dot Silver resource aspects of substituting tin/lead solders with electrically conductive adhesives, Christensen, F.M., Jensen, A.B. centre dot Occupational health aspects of adhesive and solder technolgoy, Christensen, F.M., Jaroszewski, M., Syska, J., Cohr, K.H centre dot Toxicological aspects of electrically conductive adhesives as compared to tin/lead soldering systems, Cohr, K.H., Christensen, F.M. centre dot Recycling analysis of electrical and electronic products assembled with tin/lead solder and electrically conductive adhesives, respectively, Christensen, F.M. centre dot Comparative testing of electrical conductive adhesives on various substrate platings with different component finishes, Jorgensen, T. centre dot Electronic prototype assembly with electrical conductive adhesives, Jorgensen, T. The results have been synthesised in an overall report: centre dot Environmental and technical characteristics of electrically conductive adhesives versus soldering, Christensen, F.M., Jorgensen, T. and Nielsen, I.R. (ISBN 87-982637-3-0). The project has been carried out with the support from the Council concerning Recycling and Cleaner Technology.
