摘要

Adhesion energy in oxide ceramics / non-reactive liquid metal systems were studied both experimentally and theoretically. It has been shown that the London van-der-Waals interaction is not able to describe the adhesion energy in these systems if physical constants with proper values are used. A new adhesion energy model has been developed, based on the interaction between the ions of the oxide ceramic and the induced dipoles in the atoms of the liquid metal. Good agreement between theoretical and experimental values has been found.
