摘要

Size dependence of the specific surface free energy of nanometer spherical drops of aluminum and sodium melts has been investigated on the basis of the thermodynamic perturbation theory. The method was previously validated for Lennard-Jones fluids. For metallic melts the appropriate Shiff's potentials were used. The results agree with the well-known Tolman formula and, at small radii of microparticles, with the Rusanov linear dependence of the surface tension on the microparticle radius.
