摘要

In order to identify the impact damage of laminated composite plates, the present paper shows the delamination detection method based on the low-degree vibration modes with piezoelectric sensors. The vibration characteristics of composite laminates and the response of piezoelectric sensors have been analyzed by using a simple higher-order FEM model. The effect of delamination on curvature mode shapes and piezoelectric sensor responses has been studied in detail for providing the valuable information for the identification of delamination.
