摘要

Modified Lead Zirconate Titanate (PZT) Piezoelectric Ceramics a class of poly-crystalline oxide materials, exhibit excellent piezoelectric properties and find wide ranging applications in electro-mechanical / mechano-electrical energy conversion transducers. We have developed various grades of high quality PZT based ceramics for sensor applications. This paper describes preparation techniques, characterization and evaluation of the materials in terms of sensing parameters. The results are compared with literature data. Attempt is made to use these materials for novel magnetic field sensor applications. Design of device description and output parameters is presented.
