The paper presents a very useful method for computation of the performances of electrical machines, taking into account the non-linearity of the ferromagnetic bodies. The non-linear medium is replaced with a linear medium having a magnetic polarization that is iteratively corrected by the flux density. Each linear field problem is solved using the periodic Green function. Magnetic fluxes are computed for a set of angular position of the rotor. A high accuraty must be imposed in order to obtain the voltage as a numerical derivative of magnetic flux. For analysis of the voltage dependences by the small modification of the geometry or of the B-H relations, the differences of the magnetic field must be directly computed. A linear magnetic field problem in an anisotropic medium has to be solved. The B-I relation is given by Frechet first derivative.
