For some time rumours about the standard ISO-14001 and the environment have circulated in differentrnmanagerial sectors. And with any rumour that implies competitive difference, the Valencian industrialistrnhas become alarmed at the possibility of being ousted by the bigger companies.rnHow does this new standard compare with the already existing quality system ISO-9001?. It is simply arnfurther assistance for the ordered administration of the company.rnAn administration system according to standard ISO-14001 provides the appropriate tools for thernmanagement of the wastes of a company in order to avoid environmental impacts. In certain cases this isrnnot the principle priority of a company but isrnbecoming more and more necessary these days duernto pressure from public administration, consumersrnand environmental groups.rnIs it complicated to obtain? In the followingrncommunication we offer the experience ofrnEUROTELA, S.A. a textile company of thernValencian community of an eminently traditionalrnindustrial sector, known to be the pioneer inrninnovation and the demands of society in general.rnEUROTELA, S.A. was created in 1986 and is arnyoung company within the industrial sector. It hasrnbeen and is the model and driving force for the restrnof the companies of the Valencian and Spanishrntextile sector and is recognised by national institutions and organised bodies.
