Across America, people eat outside the home more often than not. When eating at home, re-heating has emerged as a primary form of cooking. Because of waning interest and waning cooking skills, fewer of us cook on a daily basis than ever before. To fill the gap in cooking skills, Expert Cooking Intelligence is provided on foods and inside of ovens by the Food and Oven Operating System, with a unified visual connection between the oven control panel button icon and the like icon design imprinted on the food package. Codes supporting an unlimited number of food products are imprinted on food packages in 24 point type, behind which the same codes can be Braille embossed on the packaging. After a lengthy period of the food and oven industries pondering the question of the 'chicken and egg' dilemma, i.e. Which comes first, the ovens or the food?', manufacturing parts cost reduction from $3.50 to $0.05 per oven has propelled the Food and Oven Operating System Simultaneous Food and Oven US Market Launch forward to Summer 2001.
