An image obtained by commercial digital camera is usually the result of various color processing. If color is a question in the image measurement, the image should be generated from the raw image obtained directly from a digital camera. We have adopted a CCD digital camera capable to provide an image of color filter array, and demonstrated how the three dimensional color marker is useful for estimating the attitude of object of interest. This technique will be used for autonomously assembling a large structure on orbit.
