摘要

In nuclear power plants,the main corrosion product deposited on the outside surface of steam generator tubes is a porous magnetite.The deposited magnetite can limit the heat exchange capability of the steam generator.In addition,aggressive chemical impurities such as chloride,sulfate,and lead ions can concentrate in the magnetite deposits and thus induce corrosion degradation of steam generator tubes such as intergranular attack,pitting,denting,thinning and stress corrosion cracking.
