摘要

This paper describes an integrated optimization technique by combining topology optimization and size optimization for the transfer plate design of tall building structures. The suitable locations and dimensions of the openings in the transfer plate can be predicted by topology optimization, while a set of the optimal thickness solutions and corresponding steel ratios can be obtained by size optimization.A study example has been used to optimize the transfer plate by applying the integrated optimization.
