摘要

The rapid development of advanced optoelectronic devices has greatly promoted the progress of optical polymers.Conventional optical polymers are facing ever-increasing thermal reliability issues when being used in high-density and highly-integrated optoelectronic devices fabrication due to their relatively poor thermal stability at elevated temperatures.Alicyclic or semi-alicyclic polyimides (PIs),especially the ones derived from alicyclic dianhydrides and aromatic diamines,represent a class of high performance optical polymers because they combine attractive properties with high glass transition temperatures (Tg),comparable optical transparency to the common optical polymers,low dielectric constants and acceptable mechanical properties.Thus,they have found various applications in optoelectronic fabrications up to now.However,the high cost of alicyclic PIs hinders their further wide applications.
