摘要

The crotch extension in women's basic trouser block is the width of the crotch of the trousers. For the algorithms of the bigger the hip circumference, the bigger their crotch extension, and in accordance with a fixed proportion of hip circumference, analyze a random sample of 158 women data of hips and hip depth by human body scanner TELMAT with correlation tests, frequency distributions, and dissect the crotches in CATIA, which indicates a weak relationships between hip circumference and hip depth. The influence of hip depth is an independent variable of the crotch extension. With the two forms of hip shape, approximate round and approximate flat, the crotch extension is wider on the round shape, and is narrower on the flat shape. And the hip size change mainly adds to or is taken from the abdomen and the buttocks, instead of the both sides, which indicates the hip depth doesn't keep pace with its proportion of hip circumference. Based on the mathematical statistics and the toile experiments of the crotches unfold, advance a tentative result for the rule connecting hip depth and the crotch extension.
