摘要

This paper interpreted the conflicts between the demands for the application of competitive intelligence and the high cost of implementing competitive intelligence system in small and mediumsized enterprises. To solve this conflict, a competitive intelligence service platform is proposed, the main functions of which are gathering and analysis of information from human and published sources; assisting to make informed business decisions; creating and maintaining a competitive commercial advantage, finally gaining profit. Then this paper summarized the function structure and analyzed the service pattern of this platform. The functional modules of CI service platform consists of four parts, which are intelligence planning module; intelligence collection module; intelligence processing module and intelligence service module. The relevant tools which should be provided by this platform are also discussed, including the competitive intelligence collection tools and competitive intelligence analysis tools. Finally, it presents the general design and technical design of this platform, the features of this platform is also summarized.
