摘要

Submitted topic represents recent results in the research of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Tomas Bata Company in the time period from 1894 to 1945 and the application of findings in the current business environment. The main target of this research is to spread the knowledge about Bata system management and to determinate the ways of application in the current business environment. Bata Company had been the perfect example of CSR application until the year 1945. Tomas Bata (the founder) the owner until 1932 had not developed his company only but an amenities and Zlin's infrastructure too. The remarkable fact about Bata company is that company's CSR had developed itself and in a natural way without using or applying any standards. Introduced research is based on the analysis of historical documents which has been archived. These documents are located in Moravsko zemsky archiv of Zlin. Using the analysis of historical data we can introduce comprehensive description of CSR system in Bata Company until the year 1945. This research might be inspirational for the current business environment and contribute to improvements in many areas such as customer care, human resources management, company responsibility and an environment.
