Study on the Transport Performance of Air-lift Pipeline System Used inMineral Mining under Water

摘要

An air-lift pipeline system for exploiting and transporting solid materials under waterrnwas developed with pulsed water jet as the breaker and loosing device. Driven by thernbuoyancy of the injected compressed air in the liquid, the gas-liquid-sold mixturesrnmixed by the air-lift device could be transported upward in the lifting pipe. Thernoscillating pressure distribution around the suction pipe of air-lift produced by thernself-excited oscillation pulsed jet was measured; it is found there was a fluctuatingrnuplift force acting on solid particles. The lifting efficiency model of air-lift wasrnproposed, and the operating performances of air-lift system with different water jetrnnozzles were investigated experimentally. The results indicated that concentration ofrnthe mixtures and energy efficiency of air-lift system were increased obviously with thernbreaking and agitating of waterjets.
