摘要

Ventilation is believed to be an effective way of regulating indoor environment.It is used in buildings to create thermally comfortable environment with acceptable indoor air quality.In this article, state-of-the-art ventilation systems in animal feeding operations are introduced, and the indices of evaluating the effectiveness of different ventilation systems in animal feeding operations (AFOs) are revealed to judge the performance of a ventilation system quantitatively.In addition, the applied researches to predict airflow pattern and ventilation performance of different ventilation patterns are revised.Numerical simulation, laboratory experiment in test chamber and field experiment was adopted.According the papers reviewed, this paper put forward several major challenges that researchers will meet and directions that researchers should make endeavor to in the future study of predicting and optimization design of ventilation performance in animal feeding environment.
