This paper will describe the experiences gained by two Engineering Management faculty members during their recent industry sabbatical experiences. In addition, the industrial employer will discuss the benefits received by participating with the faculty members and the Department of Engineering Management & Systems Engineering at the University of Missouri-Rolla. We will further discuss why these types of experiences are beneficial to the faculty, employer, and the students in Engineering Management programs.
