The collocation between degree adverbs and descriptive adjective is, syntactically, restricted in Chinese. However, since the beginning of the new century, more and more linguistic evidences have shown that quite a number of descriptive adjectives can be modified by degree adverbs. Based on large Chinese corpus, this paper will research the collocation between degree adverbs and ABB-type adjectives. Evidence from corpus and statistics show that all kinds of degree adverbs can match ABB-type descriptive adjectives, which are gradually acquiring certain characteristics of attributive adjectives.
