Global nano-silver has been prepared for the first time using in-situ reduction of silver nitride by hydrazine hydrate with the protection of dibenzo-18-crown-6 bound chitosan (CTSG) in water system. The possible structure of the complex (ACTSG), obtained by the molecular assembling between CTSG and nano-silver, was discussed. The products were characterized by using Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and Zetasizer Nano Zs. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and antibacterial circles against four moulds separated from mildewed wet blue had been determined to evaluate the antifungal activity of ACTSG The MIC values for the four moulds, which were Penicillium freguentans, Penicillium funiculosum, Penicillium chrysogenum, Aspergillus terreus, were 20mg/L, 5mg/L, 10mg/L and 10mg/L respectively. And the average diameter of antibacterial circle of 350mg/L ACTSG solution for the four moulds were 32.56mm, — , ◎ were 33.86mm. Results showed that ACTSG displayed the strongest inhibitive effect upon Penicillium funiculosum.
