摘要

The discussion up to this point has validated seven driving requirements which primarily affect geolocation knowledge. It has been shown that a compact scanner can point with significant precision to achieve mission goals. In addition to this work, survival testing has been completed including random vibration per the NASA General Environmental Verification Standard (GEVS) to ensure robustness during launch. The scanning mechanism of the TROPICS payload has been tested extensively for flight readiness in support of a 2020 launch date.
