This paper provides some reforming ways on the contents and system of engineering graphics of the mechanical major type. The contents of Descriptive Geometry must be adjusted or deleted; students' abilities of sketching and understanding engineering drawings should be strengthened; the contents and system of engineering graphics should be reconstructed based on the three dimensional Computer Aided Design (3D-CAD) technology; and the contents of a series of related courses should be merged. All of these are provided to be discussed by the professional experts.
